What we do with your email address.
Short version: you give us your email when you subscribe, we send you a newsletter, and that's the entire deal. We don't sell it, swap it, or hand it off to anyone for marketing purposes. If you leave, we keep one line on a suppression list so nothing accidentally re-mails you, and that's the only trace.
In a hurry
- We collect your email (and optionally first name) only when you submit the subscribe form.
- We use it solely to send the newsletter you signed up for.
- We never sell, rent, share or trade it with third parties.
- You can unsubscribe with one click in any email, or email [email protected].
- Long version, including the rights you have, is below.
1.What we collect
The only personal data we collect is what you give us:
- Email address — submitted on the subscribe page.
- First name (optional) — used to greet you in the newsletter, if you choose to provide it.
- IP address & browser user-agent at the moment you submit the form — stored alongside the rest as proof that the sign-up happened. Kept as long as your subscription is active.
- Whether each email was opened and which links you clicked — used in aggregate to figure out which kinds of deals are worth flagging, not to build individual profiles.
We don't buy lists. We don't scrape addresses from anywhere. We don't import contacts from other tools. If you didn't type your address into the form yourself, it shouldn't be in our database.
2.What we use it for
The only thing your address is used for is sending you the newsletter you signed up for, plus rare service messages (e.g. confirming a change of address, or a one-off notice if we change this privacy policy materially).
We don't run ads on the newsletter and we don't profile you for anyone else's benefit.
3.The newsletter itself
Every issue contains:
- A clear identification of us as the sender, with our physical address;
- A one-click unsubscribe link in the footer;
- A link back to this privacy policy.
Affiliate / partner links inside an issue are marked (partner) next to the link.
4.How we send email
We use a third-party email-sending provider to deliver newsletters from our own servers and infrastructure. The provider sees your address purely so that they can route mail to your inbox; they're contractually bound to not use it for anything else.
5.Cookies & tracking on this site
This website uses only the bare minimum cookies needed for the site to work (e.g. a CSRF token). We don't run third-party analytics or advertising trackers. The subscribe form works without cookies.
6.Who else sees your data
Two parties, both as processors acting on our instructions:
- The email-sending provider above, so we can deliver mail.
- The infrastructure host that runs this website and stores the subscriber list.
That's the entire list. We don't share data with advertisers, data brokers, social networks, or affiliate partners.
7.Leaving
Click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any issue. It's a single click — no confirmation page, no captcha. You're removed from the active sending list immediately.
We keep one entry on a permanent suppression list (your email address only, no name, no IP) so that you can't be re-added accidentally if your address gets typed in by mistake. If you want even that removed, email [email protected] and we'll wipe it.
8.Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Ask what data we hold on you (and get a copy);
- Have it corrected or deleted;
- Withdraw consent at any time (the unsubscribe link does this);
- Object to or restrict certain kinds of processing;
- Complain to your local data protection authority.
Email [email protected] with a short note of what you want. We aim to reply within a week and we'll always reply within 30 days.
9.Contact

If we ever change this policy in a way that materially affects you, we'll email subscribers and update the date at the top.
